Hollow-core reinforced concrete slabs

  • Name
  • Hollow-core reinforced concrete slabs
Reinforced concrete floor slabs are an integral part of any construction, they are used in the design and construction of the load-bearing part of buildings or structures. Installation of floor slabs, like other reinforced concrete products, should be carried out in non-aggressive environments with normal climatic conditions.

A hollow-core floor slab is a reinforced concrete panel with round or polygonal voids. The presence of voids inside the slab allows for the laying of communications through them, which makes their use in demand when laying underground communications, for example, heating mains. Additional equipment for a hollow-core slab includes special gripping devices, which significantly simplifies both the transportation of slabs and the processes of their attachment to the load-bearing structures of the building being erected.
